WEATHER REPORT

for the caribbean region

WE ARE PRODUCING PHOTO AND FILM SHOOTS ON CARIBBEAN ISLANDS THE WHOLE YEAR ROUND.

THE TEMPERATURES
on Caribbean Islands stay comfortably in the average between 29 degrees Celsius/84 Fahrenheit between November - April and 31 degrees Celsius/87 Fahrenheit in May - October.

AVERAGE HOURS OF DAYLIGHT: 12 H
on Caribbean Islands is from around 7 am to 7 pm. Sunlight for shoots is around 7h - 9h. Midday sun is too high and bright for shoots (lunch break). The weather is generally sunny and warm all year round.

WE DO SHOOT SUCCESSFULLY ALL YEAR ROUND.

SUNNY & BEST PRODUCTION SEASON ON CARIBBEAN ISLANDS
is from mid/end of November to end of August in the following year.

THE RAINY SEASON IN THE CARIBBEAN
is considered for the months of August & November, but in the last years there was as well nice and sunny weather during those months with only occasional rain showers.

THE HURRICANE SEASON:
A hurricane occurs mostly in the northern part near Florida and Mexico.
They usually last very short (less than a day). September & October are the least favorite months for shoots, but in the so called hurricane season you have still sunny weather with occasional rain showers and we do plan our shoot days accordingly.

PREDICTION for 2026/27 - no bad hurricane forecasts according to
https://www.noaa.gov/news-release/noaa-predicts-below-normal-2026-atlantic-hurricane-season

TOURIST SEASON is considered from 3rd of January to 15th of April.

LOW TOURIST SEASON from 16th of April to 14th of December - with a significant reduction in rates for flights and hotels. Due to mostly sunny weather in Europe and North America, and with attractive holiday destinations in close range, there are less tourists heading to the Caribbean during those summer months and school holidays.

THE CHRISTMAS TOURIST SEASON
Highest season is between 15th of December - 3rd of January (Christmas and New Year's holiday).
Those 2 weeks show highest costs for travel and accommodations.
But there is a significant reduction in the weeks after till around end of January.

TALENTS

casting agencies for actors, models, extras

ON CARIBBEAN ISLANDS THERE ARE MODELS AND ACTORS OF DIFFERENT ETHNIC GROUPS

MANY OF THE TALENTS, AND FASHION MODELS ARE REGISTERED IN LOCAL CASTING AGENCIES

The talent agencies also provide local Caribbean based actors, dancers, musicians and special artists like fire blowers, limbo dancers etc... On the busy production islands more and on the small ones less, but so far we were able to recruit all requested positions locally.

There are experienced talents of various ethnic backgrounds for photo or film shoots on each island.

For extras we organize our own castings tailored to the clients request . Best example is the VIRGIN HOLIDAYS commercial shoot with over 100 extras per day, different ethnic groups, different age and gender - that is where our local casting director takes over.

For childrens fashion or advertising shoots we have great looking talented kids.
For local talents we usually work on a buy-out base.

For fashion photography, there are professional models on the islands, some have already moved on to agencies in Miami and London.

Our casting director organizes photo and video/audio castings tailored to
the clients request

MAP of THE CARIBBEAN

Caribbean Islands- where we operate

WE OFFER PRODUCTIONS ON THE CARIBBEAN ISLANDS THAT
ARE MARKED WITH A YELLOW DOT

THE LOCATION OF THE CARIBBEAN ISLANDS IN THE CARIBBEAN SEA IS IN THE FAR WEST OF THE ATLANTIC OCEAN, BETWEEN NORTH AND SOUTH AMERICA.

What we know as ‘the Caribbean’ or ‘West Indies’ is a conglomeration of approximately 7,000 islands, reefs and keys, that are scattered in the sea, with the United States of America in the North, Mexico and Central America in the West and Venezuela in the South. In the east is only the vast Atlantic Ocean.

With year-round good weather, direct air access from Europe and North America, and hundreds of islands to explore, the Caribbean offers something for almost everyone.

When thinking of film, the Caribbean location, is often considered the ideal filming location for images of island paradises - the swaying coconut palms in the wind, colorful sunsets, the iridescence of dawning suns, the turquoise waters of the ocean with perfect transparency.

As much as those images are repeated in tourist brochures, editorial magazine shoots and advertising campaigns, the facts are still true and the images that are produced on Caribbean locations still touch the eyes and hearts of the spectator.

In our location gallery you can view a good selection of location images online. We have a more extensive digitalized location archive that we use for presentation of locations to more specific creative briefs.
