Caribbean map, island locations for film productions and photographic shoots in the West Indies
Caribbean island film locations and production services for Motion Picture and Still Productions
Caribbean islands, the West Indies, offer ideal locations for film and photo shoots all year, but they are definitively a rare gem for any media productions scheduled in the Winter time when the weather is miserable in the US, Canada and Europe. There is sunshine, blue sky and the famous turquoise sea and all that in close range to the US with 3.5h flight time from the East coast and only 7h flight away from most European cities - mostly with direct flights. Barbados in the Southern part of the Caribbean locates our main production office, and this is where our "Caribbean production service company" was registered in 1998. From here we provide our location and production services and film equipment for shoots to the smaller surrounding islands - St. Vincent with its beautiful Grenadine islands, as well as to St. Lucia, Grenada, Dominica and Trinidad & Tobago. Barbados is the island with the best weather conditions all year, as it is located further out in the Atlantic and therefore less likely being hit by hurricanes in September/October.
From our 2nd base in St. Martin, the French Antilles, we supply productions on the French islands - close by St. Barts by ferry boat, Guadeloupe and Martinique from the small French Caribbean airport, as well as to Anguilla with only 20 min via ferry boat and to the remote islands of Saba & Eustatius. From St. Martin we have easy access to the near by islands of Antigua & Barbuda, British and US Virgin Islands, Montserrat, St. Kitts & Nevis. Cuba, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, the Bahamas and Belize are easy to be reached from the main airport in Sint Maarten, which is a former Dutch colony, now independent and which is located on the same island as the French overseas territory of St. Martin. There are 2 different countries in peaceful co-existence on one small Caribbean island. The main airport is on the English speaking former Dutch side, which is a duty free country, no hassle with customs, duties and taxes, an ideal entry place for international film and photo productions in the Caribbean region. So no matter on which Caribbean island we will find the ideal location for your project, we have the logistics under control and our good relations to island administrations assure a hassle free production anywhere in the Caribbean region.
